There are many software packages that are used to create digital models. For precise modern designs that must conform to specific tolerances, we use computers to create a digital model first, and then pass that model on to a machine, such as a CNC router or 3D printer for fabrication. To design objects for everyday living, users must learn how to create in three dimensions. In 2017 her second book as author-illustrator, Gary, was short-listed for the CBCA awards.We live in a three-dimensional world. Her first picture book as both author and illustrator, Ted, was a CBCA Notable Book. In 2012, her book No Bears (written by Meg McKinlay) was short-listed for the CBCA Picture Book of the Year award in both the Picture Book and Early Childhood categories. Creating tiny characters for books is her favourite part of illustrating. She moved to Australia after completing an Illustration Degree at Bath Spa University.
