There are many software packages that are used to create digital models. For precise modern designs that must conform to specific tolerances, we use computers to create a digital model first, and then pass that model on to a machine, such as a CNC router or 3D printer for fabrication. To design objects for everyday living, users must learn how to create in three dimensions. In 2017 her second book as author-illustrator, Gary, was short-listed for the CBCA awards.We live in a three-dimensional world. Her first picture book as both author and illustrator, Ted, was a CBCA Notable Book. In 2012, her book No Bears (written by Meg McKinlay) was short-listed for the CBCA Picture Book of the Year award in both the Picture Book and Early Childhood categories.
